Before starting to use the Job Costing module, the setup of various aspects must be completed.

System Configuration – Job Costing
Cost Centres – including stages, groups, status and priority
Classifications – to control postings to the General Ledger when activating transactions to jobs
Labour and Resources – for people and equipment
Templates - if required, detailing cost centres and stages, the stages being attached to a classification
